2018 marks 50 years of the ‘magazine’ known to us now as Earth Heritage. It started as a Nature Conservancy Information Circular in 1968 (the Nature Conservancy was the first nature conservation agency in Britain). Fourteen, initially simple typed sheet, Information Circulars were produced between 1968 and 1978. Between 1978 and 1993, as Earth Science Conservation, the magazine evolved into larger A4 format including black and white images. Back issues of Information Circular and Earth Science Conservation can be downloaded below. In 1994 the magazine title changed again (to Earth Heritage) and the volume numbering restarted.
